Students and staff at Westfield Academy are celebrating an excellent set of results across their hard-earned GCSE, BTEC and NCFE qualifications. 

Amongst the enormous personal and academic challenges of the global pandemic, the students achieved great progress, both as individuals and as a year group.  They displayed resilience and engagement during the periods of home learning, whilst accessing the lesson-by-lesson teacher live support and guidance. These students met the challenge of the return to in-school education, embracing once again the face-to-face high quality teaching & learning provided through the complex national changes and adaptations to their qualifications.

Simon Dallimore, Headteacher, has said “These results are the culmination of five years of hard work by students and staff. Our motto, ‘Seeing the qualities in every child’, means a focus on all children individually achieving their potential, with extensive pastoral support and personalised guidance from the whole staff team at Westfield Academy. We celebrate and congratulate each and every student at our school and look forward to hearing where their next steps in their learning journey lead.”
